The Science

A non-invasive procedure, disrupting the pigment in the eye, revealing the patient’s natural blue eyes.

Brown Pigment Covers the Iris

In the case of brown eyes, however, a thin layer of brown pigment covers the front surface of the iris (the colored part of the eye).

Procedure is Non-Invasive

It involves no incisions or injections of any kind. In fact, other than the use of a small device to help keep the patient’s eyelid open during the procedure and the application of a mild topical medication, there is little or no contact with the patient’s eye.

Strōma Laser Disrupts the Pigment

The Strōma laser disrupts the layer of pigment, causing the body to initiate a natural and gradual tissue-removal process.

Blue Eye is Revealed

Once the tissue is removed, the patient’s natural blue eye is revealed.
